Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Oraya account and associated personal data directly from the app. This page satisfies Google Play’s account deletion requirement.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Oraya app and sign in.
  2. Open the side drawer (menu).
  3. Go to Settings.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the warning, then tap Continue.
  6. Type “delete my account” to confirm, then tap Delete Account.

Deletion is processed immediately. Your account will be signed out and your personal data will be removed or anonymized as described below.

Need help deleting your account?

If you cannot access the app or run into an error, email support@orayastarguide.com with the subject line “Oraya account deletion request” and include the email address you used to sign in (Google, Apple, or email registration). We will process your request within 30 days (typically sooner).

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize, where applicable:

  • Your user profile (name, email, birth details, gender)
  • Partner records you saved for compatibility reports
  • Wallet ledger entries and purchase records linked to your account
  • Chat messages and media you sent (subject to backup retention limits below)
  • Push notification tokens associated with your account
  • Firebase Authentication credentials for your account

What may be retained

  • Records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (e.g. aggregated purchase records required by payment platforms)
  • Information already contained in anonymized or aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
  • Backup copies for a limited period (up to 90 days) before automatic purge, where technically necessary
Unused wallet balance: Deleting your account may forfeit unused wallet credits. Delete your account only after you have used or accepted loss of remaining balance, unless applicable law requires a refund.

Sign out vs. delete account

Signing out of the app does not delete your data. To fully remove your account and personal data, use Settings → Delete Account as described above.
